Our story

Lumea Eterna means lasting light. We make candles for tables that are sat at, for evenings that are not in a hurry — not photographed and left. If a flame can be both useful and beautiful, that is enough.

Cappings are the wax lids bees build over ripe honey. Beekeepers lift them once a year. What remains is the finest beeswax there is — pale, clean, already filtered by the hive. That is the only wax we use: cappings, the purest, premium wax. Nothing lesser enters the studio.

In the studio the wax is melted gently, never scorched. Then it is poured, dripped and dipped — slowly, by hand, with care and patience. Each candle is artisanal, each one is unique. Colour is not added; it is the colour of the season’s honey, fragrance is not added either. The light honey scent is already in the wax, and we leave it there.
