Classic Taper Candle, 4 pack, 24 cm — beeswax cappings tapers

Four hand-poured 24 cm tapers of cappings wax, made in our studio. The colour is the wax’s own: a warm, living gold that deepens as the candle burns. Dripless when kept out of draughts. Net weight 45 g per candle, 180 g the pack.

How to burn

Use a snug, heat-safe holder. Trim the wick to 5 mm. Keep out of draughts and the taper should burn with little or no drip. Extinguish with a snuffer rather than blowing, if you can. Do not burn a taper for more than four hours at a time.

Why choose beeswax

  • Pure material

    Beeswax as the hive made it — no additives. A gentler burn for sensitive airways.

    It burns slower than paraffin, with less smoke, so the light lasts.

    A clean burn, little soot when the wick is trimmed, and a light honey scent already in the wax.

    No petroleum. Fully biodegradable.

Ingredients

100% pure beeswax from cappings. Cotton wick. Nothing else.

A home workshop cannot filter wax to factory grade. Tiny particles from the life of the hive may remain.

Safety
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Keep away from children, pets, draughts, and anything that can catch fire.
  • Always burn on a heat-resistant, stable holder or dish.
  • Trim the wick to 5 mm before each lighting.
  • Leave 5 cm of space between burning candles. Extinguish if the flame smokes or grows too high.

Dispatch from the studio in 2–4 working days, with Omniva, DPD or Latvijas Pasts. Latvia from €4 (free over €40), usually a few days after dispatch. Rest of the EU from €12 (free over €70), typically within a week of dispatch. We ship within the EU only. Collect in person is free.
